You and your team have invested countless hours writing and crafting a document that:

Your dedication has paid off, and now you've got this impressively hefty document to show for it!

It's substantial.
It's long.
It has A LOT of information.
...and you need to get your supporters to actually read it.

Cue design.

Design is the key to creating an emotional connection with your readers, long-lasting impressions that resonate, and building your organization's credibility.

i’ve been in your shoes.

Working as an in-house marketing professional for a decade, I know how it feels to be pulled in multiple directions, leaving little time for critical high-stake projects.

a simple form that turns into a simple chat.

PHASE 01 / discovery + design

First, we'll begin by understanding your vision before we proceed with designing anything.

We'll take your ideas, edited copy and images and dive into the organization of all of your content so that we can craft a carefully-thought-out initial design direction that aligns with your organization's brand.

PHASE 02 / review + refine

Once the initial design is approved, we'll proceed with rounds of refinements to finalize your design.

Helpful hint: When we start design with solid (aka: final) copy, we'll go through fewer rounds of refinements to get your publication ready for final approval – which means you get it sooner!

Once we get the final thumbs up of approval, we will prepare your files for delivery handoff.

We had a booklet for the Minority Business Alliance 10th anniversary gala...it absolutely made a positive on the event and beyond. [It] was so beautifully done. The designs matched the occasion and the theme of the event. We keep several of these booklets in our lobby to show off Bunmi’s work as well as to show chamber members and visitors what MBA has been/is up to.

faq

  • Design and layout is a combination of strategic choices - and these decisions are made taking into consideration the content you provide.

To ensure the most successful and efficient collaborative process for you and for us, your (almost) final copy should be ready to handover by the agreed upon Project Kick-off date.

When you provide your designer with as close to finished copy as possible, the refinement rounds are more efficient and are focused more on the layout and design.

And: less text changes saves you time and money.

  • Due to the limitations Canva has when it comes to efficiently laying out multipage documents, all publications, booklets and reports are created solely with Adobe Creative Cloud products.

We believe in the level of attention the Adobe CC can bring to our clients and because, without a doubt, we create our best solutions within this industry-standard software.

When requested, we are able to supply you with the packaged native files.

  • Publications often entail detail-oriented elements like charts, diagrams and other data visualizations that take time to create and customize so that they match your brand, are easy to understand and are memorable.

It also requires time to take your Word or Google doc and turn it into something beautiful, that is easy to read and understand.

That said, project timelines will depend on the needs of your project, approval times, our availability/project capacity, holidays, etc but typically it’s a minimum of four weeks from concept to delivery for simple publication projects.

The Snapshot Report is the exception - turnaround time can be under four weeks when everything aligns perfectly (ie: copy and content is 99.9% finalized, submitted on time and refinements rounds are minimal).

  • There are times when we are able to accommodate rush projects.

However, expedited projects are subject to an additional fee because rush jobs often times require us to work beyond normal business hours and postpone work for other clients.

Especially when working with new clients, we prefer having an appropriate amount of lead time to take all the necessary steps to ensure we are delivering the most successful final design solution.

it’s time to connect, inspire & engage

Are you ready to…

  • make it easier for your audience to breeze through your publications with ease?

  • understand your valuable content effortlessly?

  • find real meaning in what you share?

Then you already know it's time to make design a priority.
